The service
Fieldkin is a species collection built through live video capture, evidence analysis and identifications for you to confirm. The publisher and product contact is Victor Laybats, reachable at contact@victorlaybats.com.
Fieldkin is intended for adults aged 18 and over. You must be at least 18 to use Fieldkin.
You retain your rights to the content you create. You may use the app for personal purposes while respecting other people's rights and applicable rules. Do not submit content you are not authorized to share.
Use and limitations
An identification suggestion is a hypothesis and may be wrong or unavailable. You confirm it yourself. The analysis is instructed to suggest an animal's sex or life stage only when sufficiently clear, species-specific visible traits support it across multiple frames; otherwise these fields remain unknown. These suggestions can be wrong, and the app does not estimate chronological age. Fieldkin does not determine edibility or safety. Do not use the app to decide whether to eat or touch an organism or take a risk.
Observe from a distance and respect local rules and private property. Do not disturb an animal or collect an organism to obtain an image. Analysis is limited and depends on an online service; Plus does not remove these limits.
The free core and Plus
Essential features remain available free of charge. Plus offers 30-day, 90-day and yearly local reports with readable text export. The seven-day report, core features and standard data export remain free. Reports use saved records; they do not measure health or establish ecological rarity. Where offered, it is optional and can only be purchased when a valid offer appears in your device's store: a monthly or yearly auto-renewable subscription, or a one-time lifetime purchase without renewal.
Payment is charged to your Apple or Google account when you confirm. A subscription renews automatically for the same period and price unless you cancel it at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You manage and cancel it in your store account settings. Cancelling stops future renewals and Plus stays available until the end of the period already paid.
The price, currency and terms shown by Apple or Google before confirmation apply. A cancellation or pending payment does not enable paid features. No proposed price is presented as an available offer.
Restoration and refunds
Restoration uses the store account that made the purchase and a verified entitlement. It does not automatically restore local personal data or guarantee transfer between Apple and Google.
Payments and refund requests follow the procedures of the relevant store. These terms do not limit the mandatory guarantees and rights you have as a consumer.
Your data and copies
You choose permissions, exports and sharing. Keep your own copies if you want to recover data after uninstalling the app or changing devices. An export sent to another app is then subject to that destination.
Processing, retention and deletion are described in the privacy policy. Deleting local data does not remove store invoices or copies you have shared.
Updates and support
Updates may fix or change the app. A feature that depends on a provider, the network or system permissions may be temporarily unavailable. We do not present that availability as guaranteed.
